Sootie has recently returned from a co-ownership and is currently in training on stock. She is from Dude’s last litter out of WTCH Starstuff’s Task It RTDs, a Sory daughter/Gin granddaughter. Although Sootie isn’t a flashy worker, she has a lot of natural talent and common sense. She likes to work close and is not a big running dog on sheep but stays calm and is not aggressive or pushy. She is doing well on the large group showing very nice balance and rating. Sootie had not been worked on cattle until coming here as an older adult and is gaining confidence on hitting heads and heels. She started out grabbing inappropriately but has taken a few knocks and learned better positioning. She has an independent streak but is easy to work with. Sootie has a calm, confident style and is very willing to please. I expect she will become an honest, self worker with training and experience.

Sootie is a quiet, relaxed dog to be around. She is very friendly and loving and easy to get along with. She does tend to be a dominate bitch in the kennel but is good when out in public. She gets along well with puppies and kids and is extremely good in the house, just kicking back and relaxing, being where her people are. Sootie is the typical Aussie, ready for action but content to hang out and soak up attention.
