All things considered, Sory is one of the easiest dogs I have to live with. He gets along well with everyone and everything. He is very tolerant and not easily upset. Sory is a biddable dog and very forgiving but also very confident; relaxed but yet very enthusiastic about any job asked of him. He is a true problem solver and a great chore dog. Sory is the kind of dog you can leave loose on your place and not worry about what he might get into. On a good day he is amazing, on a bad day he gets the job done.

Sory works all types of stock well. He is a good dog on cattle with nice style on heads and heels. He has a good bite placement and is not out to bully or overdo it. He enjoys working cattle and quietly gets them where they need to go. Sory is also a very useful sheepdog. He pushes but doesn't frighten the sheep so they usually stay more relaxed with him. His softer bite on nose or heels educates the sheep but doesn't rip them up. He is a natural at gathering stock from the pastures with a very strong sense of group. He naturally widens out as he sees sheep. He works equally well in corals and pens. Though he is fairly loose-eyed, he reads stock very well. He is a real thinker and very goal oriented.
